In my mind, the customer/truck driver was really put off from "DUNK" Acino and like a horror movie house with a ghost, decided fire was the only way to take care of it. Original ending was going to be him, bf, & gf outside of the burning Dunkin', looking on as a ghost head of Al Pacino floats above in the smoke and echoes "dunk!" across the night air.
